Days 23-30: Finally the Quarter Finals!!

BQ returns for the quarter-finals and it is good to be back.


The intermediate week was hectic and thanks to all those who came back with concern and wishes. Things are getting back to normalcy slowly.

... Ireland really had the South Africans on the mat - only to let them get up and knock them back! (applause to the Irish, though; for a valiant campaign!)
... Hiral Patel showed that the Ozzie bowlers are pie-chuckers albeit briefly!
... Carribeans committed suicide twice, if that were ever possible;
... Bongla-babus flattered to deceive their millions;
... India continued to press its self-destruct button (well, Dhoni said that from 21-9 to 51-7 is a great improvement!); and
... Pakistan continued to confound us by being consistent
... people missed the quiz (no kidding!)
