Day 10: Associates Zombied and Roached!

Bell does not know the 2.5m rule. Neither did we.

Dhoni calls the Bell decision as 'adulteration'. Of course, the Indian bowling was 'unadulterated' tripe and the fielding 'unadulterated' baloney! But you have to give it to the man: "We can't improve fielding that much; we will work on our strengths!" Full Corporate Talk, MS!!

Teams beware: A secret note from Viru to himself says, "This is why I said that I shall bat for all the 50 overs; if I had done that yesterday, the score would have crossed 400 and we could have still won by 10 runs! I therefore, shall ask for the full support from all members to make me play the full 50 overs." Also heard that this note has now been passed on to the Irish for seeking their support as well :-))

Same Viru also in an off-the-record interview seems to have said: "Against Bangladesh everybody played well except Sreesanth. Against England everybody played badly except Sreesanth as he carried out his 12th man duties very well by not coming onto the field even once."

Oh, incidentally, the two associates got CLOBBERED beyond recognition by two of the weakest teams with full (WI) and three-quarters (ZIM) member statuses! Canada can start to play "Scissor, Paper, Stone" or some such variant. Netherlands were first Pollared and then hat-tricked by Kemar. Live another day.

Q Part:

After all the explicit and four-lettered clues, all I got was Idaho Marathon, Soccer, Strip Poker, Cricket, Triathlon, Bananagram, Apple Peel, American Football (as the ball looks like a potato!)... oh, it was fun.

In the end, Aditya for his sheer perseverance gets half-a-point for at least going in the right direction.

By the way, the answer is Croquet. Yessir! That game where they hit the ball with a mallet across the lawns through the hoops. And PEEL is a very importantmanoeuvre - especially the Sextuple Peel is very much akin to the Yuvaraj peeling of Stuart Broad - six times six in an over! Go Wiki Now!!!

Here is the next one. A gentle off-spinner outside the off-stump.

iThe following picture hides a code.
What has been codified here? And what is the code called?

*******

B Part:

Here is the current status on the 'B' portion. Heartened to note that there are some souls who are desperate even to B on the associate massacre. Thanks, folks. And as expected no winners today. What else did one expect?

Please note the timings for the Kenya-kaze..

Sri Lanka vs Kenya by 16:25 hours SGT Tuesday

Answers and guesses to the usual place. (The usual place is my email address, which you can find in the this post!)

Have a great March!
