Pakistan really frightened the West Indies today and before you could spell Mirpur, six wickets were down. The uncharitable wag in the family mentioned that Saeed Ajmal was chucking doosras as if they were going out of style; but to me the only chucking that was visible was what the West Indies did with their wickets.
Side note: Tony Greig was gushing that it is good for the game - I have to be charitable to him - he must have meant the doosras!
Afridi is having a field tournament and somehow one gets a feeling that the inconsistency that one associates with Pakistan is slowly fading like the distant thunder! (no, I am not waxing lyrical...yuck!)
West Indies proved that they are just that one step ahead of Bangladesh by getting thulped by all the top-ranked nations - even though they had good chance to topple India and more than an excellent chance to make Paul Collingwood's daughters happy! Next time, perhaps!
