Day 22: Nine in Nine ends in pain!

Ok, I would need the four teams that would make it to the Semi-Finals by March 17, 2011 - 16:00 SGT. As at that date, only one game will be left to be played for almost all the teams - which would make the guesses that much more interesting.

******

At the half-way mark, my Facebook page was full of such words as "Harakiri", "Kamikaze", "Self-destruct button", "Suicidal"... you get the drift.

Well, it is inexplicable when you see the grand edifice that SRT, Viru and Gauti built so carefully, crumbling down as if it was constructed using a pack of cards.

Dhoni wanted his top order to stay long; and they did stay long - can't ask for more, can you?

For a change the bowling and fielding was reasonable considering the belter of a wicket at Jamtha.

South Africa will now go and claim that they are not chokers - they did try hard to dispute that claim, by losing those wickets in the end... but then the law of averages had to catch up, right?

Group B is nicely poised. Mostly India, having lost the momentum will lose to Windies and end up tying with England (yes, they will beat the Carribs) - and run-rates will come into picture to decide on who ends up 3rd or 4th! There, I have stuck my neck out. Let us see what happens.

* Did you notice that both the Indian and South African commentators were extremely cautious (including the intolerable Robin Jackman) when trying to guess what would happen in the game? They knew that both the teams are capable of s****ing up from a-victory-on-a-platter situations!

Q Part:

Raghav came up with the correct link and the explanation. Full point for him.

The first image is a watch from the collection named Moon Dust DNA by Geneva based watch maker Romain Jerome which has the dial made from the real dust gathered from the Moon rock and the image on the right is that of the first musical video game named "Moon Dust". The name is common between them.

Yuva gets half a point for getting the watch correctly & Sharath got the video game right and scores another half.

No next question.

B Part:

A good turnout for B part. Who is going to displace Maddy next?
