Day 2: Canadian Chicken and Kenyan Egg!

Of late, a lot of web real-estate is devoted towards the injustice that is being perpetrated on the Associate nations. But with the way the three nations (well, BAN are only slightly better than CAN and KEN :-)) went about their game in the first three games of this world cup, we are most likely to be in for a very long and dreary month, where the winning margins are going to be bloated beyond imagination.

Probably Lorgat is right. But then how will the Associates improve if they don't play the game more often against stronger opposition? Now you know the reason for the title of this post :-))

Both Erasmus and Tucker (umpires of the NZL v KEN game) were reportedly paid only for half-a-day's work. By the way, it is not uncommon for umpires to wish (mind you, no influence; we are impartial!) the strong team to bowl first when they face a weaker team.

As expected the BQ suffered Associatis.

B Part:

Rambo tried the Kenya stunt. But then, if Kenyans can fly...

Please send in your details for the next game asap.

Australia vs Zimbabwe by 16:25 hours SGT Monday

Can the Zimbabwean spinners cause a few flutters?

Q Part:

The second question was indeed tough. As Maddy said, I am unable to get in google. Tough to answer.

It is a matter of what you google for. Wifey said that I shall google for Kim Clijsters and Australian Open trophy images. Well she was in the right path, but could not find the answer - talk of women's impatience! The correct answer is the Australian women's singles trophy is named after Daphne Akhurst (the older picture is Daphne's and of course it was Kim Clijsters holding the trophy aloft! You can google now to get enlightened :-)).

Unfortunately, no one got the right answer. A number of people said that the ladies were Kim and Margaret Court and that they won the grand slams after becoming a mother and stuff like that. Tough luck this time around.

Now here is the next one.
Drumrolls pleazzzz...

An tricky bouncer from the world of numbers.

If the first "column" represents the number 427 then what does the second column represent?

Answers to the usual place.
Have a good week ahead.
