Day 5 - Bang! Bang!

The romantics wanted Afghans to win today. From ICC World Cricket League Division 5 to ODI status to World Cup is a real far cry. That Asia Cup win against Bangladesh in Fatullah was always in the background. But some inexperience in referrals and while batting showed them up. How much was that Shenwari's bowling suspension a cause for their deterioration, you never know.

Their discipline was there for about 30 overs. Then they slept for an hour. That was enough for the tigers to come back strongly. It is a different matter that Bangladesh cricket team is the most under-achieving sporting team that I have ever watched. Even Liverpool FC shows some quicksilver form off and on!
